God, okay, so. It's been a while since he's been involved in a supernatural crisis, and usually he had a werewolf or three backing him up in situations like this. The fact that he's on his own means there's a pretty high chance of getting paralyzed or otherwise injured, which is why he stops at one of those emergency fire axe things and somehow manages to bust it open, because he's pretty sure axe is gonna be better than no axe when it comes down to it. (Sticking it in one of the pockets of his backpack is probably not the best or safest way to carry an axe, but it's not like he's an axe expert, okay.)

Once he gets within a certain radius of the kanima, there's surprisingly not as many victims (probably because most of them are safely webbed outside, not that he knows it), which is cool because Stiles has been trying to drag paralysis victims to places that are relatively safe and hidden, which is going to be kind of an issue if rescue teams get here before they can move on their own but will hopefully keep them safe and intact until that happens. He's actually in the midst of doing this with a girl he thinks he was in orientation with, reassuring that it's gonna be fine, honestly, she'll be able to move again in one-to-two hours tops, when he spots the red and blue.

Which, okay. For all the kidding with Peter about BiSpider-Man saving one of them from a mugging, he did not actually expect to be in a crisis situation with the guy. He kind of freezes up for a moment, and then it occurs to him that shit, this could actually be really good because it's probably going to be a lot easier to trap the kanima if he has some help. "Woah, uh - Spider-Man?"
